Superintendent's Letter

Welcome to Clinton Community Schools,

The Clinton Community School District is located in the historic Village of Clinton in beautiful Northern Lenawee County, the “gateway” to the Irish Hills. Our district is proud of our quality schools and commitment to rigorous academic programming. The Clinton Community Schools staff take great pride in providing a caring and nurturing learning environment where all students can be successful. The three “Rs” of rigor, relevance, and relationship are stressed at each level, as well as a whole-child approach where all persons are important and have value.

At Clinton Community Schools we endeavor to offer a high-quality, seamless, pre-Kindergarten through grade twelve education to all of our students in a safe and healthy environment. We strive to educate every person to be explorers and life-long learners and wish to inspire endless possibilities for all of our students and families.  

We currently offer thirteen AP Courses, a one-to-one technology initiative, and strong award-winning athletic and extracurricular programming with no pay-to-play. We provide quality support and interventions and enrichment opportunities for our students at the elementary and secondary level. Our Elementary, Middle, and High School offer STEM curriculum through Project Lead the Way (PLTW) classes, as well as the virtual classroom to offer cutting-edge opportunities for students. 

Our Preschool program was recently awarded FIVE STAR status, and our latchkey provides students with a solid start to their education and provides parents with after-school care. We at Clinton Community Schools pride ourselves on our strong commitment to teamwork and tradition as well as providing a quality education that stresses small-town values and endless possibilities for our students. Great things are happening in Clinton including the recent rebranding of our mascot to the Clinton Redwolves and the community investing in our district by approving a $34,800,000 bond in May 2021. The bond will add space to the D.P. Pray Preschool, Clinton Elementary School, and Clinton High School. The current middle school will be re-purposed for community use and Board of Education offices. These are exciting times to be a part of the school community!
