Young 5's

What is Young 5's?

Young 5's is a bridge between preschool and kindergarten. It is a "gift of time" to give students the opportunity to grown in their confidence and further develop their social/emotional skills before entering kindergarten. Students are given hands-on experiences to stay engaged while learning and having fun.

Once completing Young 5's, students will transition into kindergarten. The curriculum is based on the Michigan Department of Education Kindergarten Standards. These are modified to meet the needs and development of this age group.
